Winter, PhD, Mathematics, has been developing astronomy software for over 35 years.  Dr. Winter has been developing software solutions continuously over that time in the fields of statistics, engineering, investment analysis, forecasting, computer-aided design, computer numerical controlled manufacturing, astronomy, and digital image processing.  In the field of astronomy, Dr. Winter specializes in advanced theoretical and computational methods including diffraction theory, star field pattern recognition, and statistical digital image processing.
